Figure skating, especially at the competitive level, is a costly sport. Club ice, that all-important, dedicated-to-figure-skating reserved ice time, which must be rented from Eagles' Ice-A-Rena. is a necessity for skaters at all levels and for competitive athletes in particular. Off-ice strength training, ballet, and trampoline work can only go so far; nothing takes the place of actual blades-on-ice time.

Skaters must pay for ice time to meet that rental charge. By helping defray these costs, Corporate sponsors help lower that per-hour price, making the difference between dreams and realityfor many a skater.

Spokane is one of the fastest growing markets in the world of competitive figure skating. LCFSC was part of the group that hosted the 2002 Smart Ones Skate America, which attracted a record attendance for the event. Thanks to that success, similar nationally televised events are coming to Spokane.

It's important that Spokane be well represented in these events. Please consider becoming a corporate partner of the LCFSC.
